About the Founder - Jason Young

Jason was born in Saratoga, NY and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2007 at Westover Air Force Base in Massachusetts. His military service spanned four years as a flight medic with the 439th AES Aeromedical Squadron and was then transferred to the 139th AES out of Scotia, NY. During his time of service, he traveled all over the United States performing mission duties for the Air Force.

Jason owned numerous veteran-owned business ( Restaurant, Marina, Liquor Store) and has now moved onto coffee.

Launching Engine 3 Coffee Company, he has devoted everything to the product. The company was launched during the COVID-19 pandemic and soared to 43 states and 2 countries in just 6 months. He contributes his continued entrepreneurial success to his time spent in the United States Air Force.

To aid in the Harvey Relief efforts, Jason drove from NY to Houston, TX to volunteer as a fire-fighter in the hard-hit community, serving seven days with the local support unit. He also serves as a regular guest speaker with the Veteran Business Outreach Center’s Boots to Business Program, mentoring fellow veteran entrepreneurs, and sharing his own experiences transitioning out of the military and into business ownership.
